This year I plan to do my own Christmas cakes ... I have set my own challenge. And no! I started with the nougat that I've always liked more; nougat cream with nuts .
also soon go up a hojaldrinas, a three-chocolate nougat, a nougat Roasted egg yolk, some wine and some donuts marquesitas .... so do not miss it, because they are yummy, much better than what you buy already made, there is nothing better than handcrafted home.
INGREDIENTS: -200 grams of ground almonds (if you do not have to grind thermomix)
-200 grams of icing sugar (if you do not have to make thermomix )
-100 grams of walnuts,
-80 grams of cream of riding.
Utensils Kitchen:
1 kitchen pan, 1 wooden spoon or paddle, plastic or silicone, 1 wooden box, 1 vegetable cooking paper.
PREPARATION: traditional to:
cooking in a saucepan cast sugar and cream.
Then we approach the fire bucket and let it cook until we get a very thick syrup.
Once we made it our syrup add the ground almonds and chopped walnuts into large pieces.
We shall remove everything with a spoon or paddle until we have made a smooth paste is off of our bucket with ease, when they will test at its optimum, to put it on a wooden box so that it takes consistency .
In thermomix:
> Put the sugar in the bowl and grind Vel. from 7 to 10, for 10 sec. (to make our sugar glass) reserve.
> We put in the cup almonds 12 sec Vel 10

> manually chop nuts and set aside.
> We put in the bowl cream together the sugar 12 min.Varoma, speed 3 with no cup.
> Once we add the ground almonds, together with the nuts we had reserved 15 sec. Vel. 3
We take the box that we have prepared, lined with baking paper, we take our dough with nougat in it and cover with the role we protruding from the box and its lid.
We put a weight on top to compact everything is fine (I put a box of milk) and I left it about 24 hours minimum.
at which point we can unmold and decorate to our taste (I've stuck a half of nuts with honey and I decorated with caramel).
